No. Our 54 and Overdrive trackers both come with rechargeable batteries.
If your trailer does have power we have hardwire kits available that allow constant power so you never have to worry about charging the device.
The battery can last up to 6 weeks depending on the frequency of location updates of your selected plan. In Energy Saver mode the battery can last up to 12 months. Our Overdrive tracker has a stronger battery that lasts 3-4 times longer. If battery life is a concern, we also offer a hard-wired option that can run off an external battery source.
You can see the location of your trailer in real-time using our SilverCloud App compatible with Apple and Android devices. We also offer web-based software that allows you to login and view your trailer's location using a web browser.
The InstaFence feature in our SilverCloud App will give real-time alerts if your trailer is moved.
You can also configure geofencing and receive an alerts when your trailer is moved beyond the virtual perimeter.
Setup is easy and only takes a few minutes. Once you receive your tracker, install the SilverCloud App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Then scan the QR code on the back of your tracker to link your account. After that you will choose a subscription plan that fits your needs and then you are ready to start tracking.
Yes. All devices require a subscription plan. We offer plans that update tracking information from every 3 seconds up to every 3 minutes. You are not locked into a contract and can pay month-to-month, or you can pre-pay for 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years for significant savings.
